Setting up an AFK channel is a very easy task that any Ventrilo Server Admin can do.
- Ensure you are logged into your Ventrilo Server as an Administrator.
- Right click your Server Name.
- Click Channel Admin -> Create.
- Type the name of your Ventrilo Channel (AFK Channel).
- To mute the voice, change Voice Mode to "Muted."
- Click OK.
- Right click on the white area of the Ventrilo client.
- Click Server Admin -> Server Properties
- In the "User inactivity" tab on the right, set the Timeout period in minutes.
- Under Action, choose "Move to channel."
- Click the Channel [...] button and select the channel you wish to move them to.
